Good Grief! All I wanted was one picture…

Paper and elements from Easter Hop by Pamela Donnis

Seriously. One picture of the three of them in their Easter clothes. One.

Apparently too much to ask since this was the best of the shots. It’s still a memory, and one that I am sure we will all laugh at someday.

Easter was good. We had a great time hanging out with all the fam(s).The Easter Bunny visited the kids and they were pretty excited by all of the goodies he left. There was candy here at our house and he left garden tools for the girls and toys for Captain Chaos at my parents house. There were eggs hidden at Party Boy’s family gathering. All in all, we ate too much, laughed way too hard, and had a great time visiting with family that we don’t see often enough.

Here’s some more winners and losers from the great Easter picture debacle of 2009!

To finally get a good picture of Chaos I handed him a plastic egg to hold. He was good with it, although he wasn’t willing to crack a smile.

Then he cracked the egg open and realized it was empty. That was the end of our little photo shoot. He was very upset with me. Ah, well. You can’t say I didn’t try…

And here I was thinking it would get easier to take the boys’ picture when they get older! Even though they aren’t “perfect” pictures I really love the 2nd and 3rd action shot pictures. It captures something great…
