The Shop on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Maryanne Shaffer and Annie Barrows

Kingdom Keepers III: Disney in Shadow by Ridley Pearson

These are all linked to Amazon on this page.

What movies, television shows, plays, etc. did I watch this month?

24, LOST,  The Office, Public Enemy, The Pacific, Parenthood, Glee!, Castle, The Invention of Lying, Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeak-wel, The Real Robin Hood, Worst-Case Scenario (with Bear Grylls), Sherlock Holmes, X-Files, America: The Story of Us, Informant!, Up, Shrek: Forever After, The Pacific

What fun things did I do with my family and/or friends?

Celebrated my brother graduating from college. Visited with my grandparents. Spent the night at my parents house and watched them run a 5k race in record time. Went to Houston to visit my aunt. Saw Shrek: Forever After in IMAX 3D (really cool). Made kabobs for the first time ever! Had a Memorial Day party at a friends house. That was WAY fun!

What gifts did I give and/or receive?

For Mother’s Day I sent cards to the Moms (my Mom and my MIL) and I got 2 magazine subscriptions – Martha Stewart Living and MaryJane’s Farm. Party Boy bought me two scent diffusers for our bed/bathroom.

What special or unusual purchases did I make?

I got a new waffle maker. It’s a GE. It makes four waffles at a time. Got a canner. For making salsa and pickles.

What illnesses or health concerns did I have?

Cold/allergy stuff at the first of the month. Lots of sinus issues and ears stopping up.

What were my accomplishments this month?

I started scrapping again and finished several layouts.

What were my disappointments this month?

The LOST finale. ‘Nuff said. Also that Party Boy’s truck was broken into. Again. They didn’t take anything because there was nothing to take. We keep it pretty well cleaned out. I just hate that our neighborhood feels like such a frequent target.

Anything else noteworthy to include?

The first half of the month was just beautiful, weather-wise. Now? Hot, hot, hot. Miserable hot. What a difference a month makes!
