Prompt: Writing. What do you do each day that doesn’t contribute to your writing — and can you eliminate it? (By Leo Babauta of Zen Habits)
In a word? Procrastination.
I put off writing until I have a funny story. Until I have an interesting topic. Until I have time.
I need to make time. Quit worrying about whether it’s funny or meaningful and just write. Sit down and write. The stories will come.
