Rounding up the events of December 2010
What books and/or magazines did I read this month?
Fall of Giants – got this one from the library after waiting for 3 months. So far it’s a really great read, but I think I’ll have to buy it to finish it!
Martha Stewart Living
These are all linked to Amazon on this page.
What movies, television shows, plays, etc. did I watch this month?
CSI:Miami, Warehouse 13 Christmas Special, Bones, CSI, Blue Bloods, The Office, Dallas Cowboys Football, Hawaii 5-0, The Road, Jonah Hex, From Paris With Love, The Good Guys, The Year Without a Santa Claus, It’s a Wonderful Life, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Martha Stewart, Call of Duty: Black Ops
What fun things did I do with my family and/or friends?
We went to watch the girls sing with their church choir at a mall downtown. Spent a day out window shopping at Bass Pro Shop and an Outlet Mall. Saw MOTS perform in The Sounds of Christmas. Had Party Boy’s birthday dinner at Red Robin. Christmas with the in-laws 3 hours away. December is a crazy month, isn’t it?
What gifts did I give and/or receive?
Lots. Too many to accurately list them here. Santa and our friends and family were very generous this year!
What special or unusual purchases did I make?
Everything is special in December. Probably the most unusual was the movie theater candy for the movie gift bags we did as sibling gifts.
What illnesses or health concerns did I have?
Just a virus (thought it might be strep). Otherwise okay!
What were my accomplishments this month?
I was chosen for the Log You Memory Challenge Team for January – June 2011. 🙂 Pretty excited about that.
I wrote December Daily prompts for the Trixie Scraps blog and posted those daily.
Completed my 3rd December Daily album. It took me awhile to decide on a formula that I liked. I ended up with a large photo on the left page with any additional photos on the right as needed. I really like how it turned out.
I built Hogwarts. Out of LEGOs. Probably my most favorite accomplishment.
What were my disappointments this month?
I had really hoped to get more cookies baked, the house cleaner, more pictures, more time. Ah, well, don’t we all want that before Christmas? I have learned to let go and enjoy the season!
