Outside my window… Cloudy skies with a tiny bit of sun peeking through every once in awhile.
I am thinking… about how nice it feels to have the yardwork done, about creative stuff I want to do, and about what we’re going to have for dinner.
I am thankful for… beautiful weather, helpful kids, and power tools for the yard.
From the kitchen… nothing at the moment. We are going out, because I am tired from all that yard work!
I am wearing… dark blue shorts and a fuschia top. Yes, shorts. In February. Don’t hate.
I am creating… a new perspective on life. I’ll share more about what I am reading and thinking about in another post.
I am going… out to eat. Quite frankly, I don’t care where we go. I am starving.
I am reading… The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown and Unclutter Your Life in One Week by Erin Doland.
I am hoping… to get lots of work done this week around the house.
I am hearing… airplanes flying overhead, DIY shows on TV, kids laughing outside, Despicable Me playing in another room.
Around the house… walls that need painting, baseboards that need caulk, linoleum that needs ripping up, laundry that needs folding and ironing, and so on. It just never ends.
One of my favorite things… Momento. It’s an app (surprise, surprise) that catalogs your Twitter feed, Facebook feed, Foursquare feed, and so on. It has become like a journal of our days as I tweet, Facebook, Flickr, etc. I love looking back and seeing what we did on a certain day!
A few plans for the rest of the week:
Monday – School, cleaning, laundry catch-up day, swim class.
Tuesday – School, finishing the baseboards, start ripping up linoleum.
Wednesday – School, ripping up linoleum, church.
Thursday – School, still ripping up linoleum (?), resting.
Friday – School (short day), grocery store, ready for weekend cleaning.
