Big wedding this weekend. No, not the roayl wedding! My cousin’s wedding…
We went out Friday for the rehearsal and dinner, then Saturday for the ceremony, which was beautiful.
Loved this display of crosses in the foyer where the reception was held. It was too dark to get any pictures of the ceremony, but the dress, the bride, etc. were all beautiful! You’ll just have to take my word for it.
We had two showings during the wedding, which was convenient. No bites yet, which is a bummer, but time will tell.
Sunday dawned gloomy and cold. Gah!
It’s May 1st for crying out loud! And the temps were stuck in the 40s and 50s. And you know where our winter clothes are? The storage facility down the road. My poor kids were freezing. They lived, of course, we just made it a point to stay indoors as much as possible!
The evening service at church was the children’s choir performance. The girls did great – MOTS had a solo. And I completely forgot to take my camera. Doh! On the other hand, it was really nice to be able to just watch and enjoy the performance in the moment without fussing with the camera or stressing about the getting pictures in low light.
Afterward we did our annual dinner with my parents at Freddy’s – Steak burgers, fries, and frozen custard. Yumm-o!
And Captain Chaos had a side of ketchup.
